As Mercurial Art, we have been participating in art festivals around the country for over 30 years. To fuse glass, compatible glasses are laid on a kiln shelf at room temperature and heated through a series of process zones to 1500 degrees, resulting in a new sheet of glass. Multiple kiln firings

add detail or form

to a final piece.

Recent work utilizes the chemistry of glasses that react with each other when fired to create complex designs in barrettes and earrings.
